The Mehat Pur police have booked four persons including a woman on the charge of assaulting a woman.
Investigating officer (IO) Harwinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jassi wife of Bindar a resident of Raulli village, her two sons Shera and Gopi, and Manpreet son of Bittu a resident of the same village.
Parween wife of Butta a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into her house and attacked, injured, and threatened her on September 14.
IO said that a case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt),506(criminal intimidation) and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
