A Jalandhar village resident was killed in an accident.
Investigating officer (IO) Govinder Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Jaswant Singh son of Piara Singh a resident of Rai Pur Rasul Pur village under Maqsudan police station.
Inderjit Singh a resident of the same village told the police that Jaswant was killed in an accident.
IO said the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C handed over the body of the deceased to the family after post-mortem.
