DIG honours Nakodar Sadar ,Goraya police officers,  employees for good work.

 

JALANDHAR

Jalandhar Range Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Swapan Sharma on Monday honoured officers and employees of Nakodar Sadar and Goray police stations for their remarkable work in recovering huge quantities of drugs.

Jalandhar (rural) Senior Superintendent of Police M.S. Bhullar said in a press release that the Nakodar Sadar police had recovered 6 KG heroin and Rs 3000 drug money from smuggler Gujral Singh Joga on May 12. He said that 8 employees of Sadar police station have been honoured with Rs 10,000 and a class – 1 certificate.

 

SSP said that the Goray police had recovered. 8 kg heroin from Joga Singh son of Joginder Singh on August 17 and 8 officers and employees have been honoured with DGP disks and assistant sub-inspector Nirmal Singh has been promoted to the rank of sub inspector.
