The Bilga police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of snatching cash from a villager and stealing famers transformers.
Station House Officer (SHO) Mohinder Pal said that the accused have been identified as Viki son of Darshan Singh a resident of a Jogian Basti,Dharam Kot in Moga and Buta Singh son of Sukha Singh a resident of Adarsh Nagar ,Dharam Kot in Moga .
Jagdeep Singh a resident of Mowai village complained to the police that the accused snatched Rs 700. from him by threatening him at the point with sharp-edged weapons on August 8
SHO said that the accused also stolen transformers from farmer’s fields.
SHO said a case under sections 379-B (snatching) ),379(theft) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of IPC has registered against the accused and recovered from their possession Rs 700 and stolen transformers’ parts and assistant sub-inspector Buta Ram is further investigating.
