The Shahkot police have arrested two thieves on the charge of stealing household goods from a house.
Investigating Officer (IO) Balvir Chand said that the accused have been identified as Ajay Kumar son of Gurmej Singh and Harjit Singh alias Baru son of Karamjit Singh residents of Dhando Wal village
Nisha wife of Barjesh Kumar a resident of the same village complained to the police that thieves barged into her house on August 23 night and stole the AC, Refrigerator, and other household goods.
IO said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and their accomplice Jatinder Singh alias Ravi son of Baldev of Dhado Wal village.
