NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illegal liquor.
Investigating Officer Davinder Singh said that 13 bottles of illicit country-made liquor and 50 kilograms of Lahann(raw liquor) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurmeet Singh a resident of Beetalan village.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
