The Nurmahal police have arrested a youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor and criminal conspiracy.
Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhdev Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jaspal Singh alias Pala son of Rachhpal Singh a resident of Rame Wal village.
Bakhasho wife of Kulvir Singh a resident of Fateh Pur village has complained to the police that the accused Pala kidnapped her minor daughter by inducing her and his accomplice Debi to help him in committing the crime.
SHO said that a case under sections 363 (kidnapping) 366-A (procuration of minor girl) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy )of the IPC was registered against the accused and section 4 of the POSCO Act has been added in the FIR and the victim rescued and handed over to her parents.
