The Bilga police have arrested a villager and booked two on the charge of selling illicit liquor and seized a huge quantity of hooch.
Investigating officer Avtar Lal said 400 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Manvir Singh alias Monu a resident of Bhode village which was loaded in a car (PB-25-C-0081).
IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused and Rannjit Singh and Panja Singh residents of Bhode village who managed to flee from the spot.
