NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested four persons on the charge of stealing the electricity transformers of farmers.
Investigating officer Harwinder Singh said the accused had been identified as Lakhan, Rahul, Antrjit Yadav, and Sonu Singh all residents of Ludhiana City.
The police claim to have seized oil, copper, coils, and wires stolen from the transformers.
IO said a case under sections 370(theft) and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC was registered against the accused on a statement from Hardeep Singh of Mehat Pur.
