The Shahkot police have arrested two thieves on the charge of stealing material from a shop.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jagdev Singh said that the accused have been identified as Joraj alias Jaji son of Satpal of Malsian village and Kulwider Singh alias Kinder son of Malkit Singh of Shahkot .
Manshinder Singh a resident of Seeche Wal village has complained to the police that thieves barged into his shop on August 27 night and stole one big battery, one printer scanner one LCD and a mobile phone .
I O said that a case under sections
457 (lurking house trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house)of the IPC was registered against the accused and recovered from their possession stolen good and impounded a motor cycle used in the crime.
The Nakodar Sadar police booked a thief Rajinder Singh alias Laadi of Kang Sahibu village for stealing iron bar from motor room of farmer Amarik Singh of the same village said IO Amrik Singh
