NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked an unidentified pick-up van driver on a charge of causing death by negligence.
Ashok Kumar a resident of Kot Sadik, Khehra colony Kala Sanghian Road near Primary School Jalandhar division no 1 complained to the police that the accused pickup van driver crushed to death his relative Keshav Kumar Chaudhary near Sandhu Dhaba Nakodar on August 29.
Investigating Officer Sarabjit Singh said that a case under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) 279(rash driving on a public road) 337,338(causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427(mischief) has been registered against an unidentified driver.
