NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested an accused on the charges of breach of trust and cheating.
Nakodar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sukhpal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Manraj Rai’s son of Balwant Rai a resident of Virk village under Goraya police station.
DSP said that the accused had duped Makhan Ram of Uggi of Rs 2 Lakh on the pretext of helping his son in police recruitment and a case under section 406(breach of trust) and 420(cheating) of the IPC was registered against the accused in March 2023.
