The Lohian Khas police have booked a father-son duo on the charge of outraging women’s modesty, voluntarily causing hurt, criminal intimidation, and committing the crime with common intention.
Investigating Officer (IO) Govinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gurdial Singh son of Pakhar Singh a resident of Chak Chela village and his son Sukhjinder Singh.
Rajvinder Kaur wife of Harjinder Singh complained to the police that her father-in-law and brother-in-law assaulted her on August 25 night in front of her house and tore her clothes. She said that a family property dispute was the reason behind the attack.
IO said that a case under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty.) 323(voluntarily causing hurt), 506(criminal intimidation), and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to arrest them.
