NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have arrested a woman on the charges of cheating.
Station House Officer (SHO) Baljit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Balwinder Kaur wife of Dalvir Singh a resident of Talwandi Bharo village.
Tarsem Singh a resident of Railway Road, Nakodar has complained to Jalandhar(rural) Senior Superintendent of Police that the accused gave his land on rent without his knowledge, and any authority embezzled money, and duped him.
SHO said that a case under section 420(cheating) of the IPC was registered against the accused after an inquiry and assistant sub-inspector Rajinder Pal Singh is conducting further investigations.
