The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of stealing a farmer’s trolley.
Investigating Officer (IO) Amrik Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gurinder Singh alias Pinder son of Balwinder Singh a resident of Billi Warraich village.
Sarabjit Singh, a resident of Khan Pur Dhadda village complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice stole his trolley from his large walled house on August 24 night.
IO said that a case under sections 457(lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and his accomplices Sukhpreet Singh son of Kuldeep Singh of Seo Wal village and one unidentified accused and recovered stolen trolly.
