The Nakodar City police have arrested a woman and booked two others on the charge of snatching a woman’s bangle.
Station House Officer(SHO) Baljit Singh said that the arrested accused has been identified as Karnail Kuar alias Ranni wife of Hansa Singh a resident of Gillan Kherrri village under Bhawani Garh police station, Sangrur.
Krishna Garg wife of Baldev Kumar a resident of Hanumaan Garg district Rajasthan complained to the police that she came to pay her obeisance at Dera Murad Shah on August 24 when the accused cut her golden bangle from her arm and fled away and were addressing themselves at Ranni Deepo and Piaro.
SHO said that a case under sections 379-B(snatching ) and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and her two accomplices Piaro and Deepo and assistant sub-inspector Kulwinder Singh is conducting further investigation.
