NAKODAR.
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling opium.
Station House Officer (SHO)Jatinder Kumar said that 255 grams of heroin and Rs 47,000 drug money were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Shinder Singh alias Pappu son of Ajit Singh a resident of Tindi Wala village under Sadar Feroze Pur police station
SHO said that a case under sections 21(C)/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and assistant sub-inspector Jaspal Singh is conducting further investigations.
SHO said that the accused is wanted by three police stations in cases of drug peddling.
Nakodar Sadar police arrested two drug peddlers Kuldeep Singh alias Viki son of Gurmit Singh and Sandeep alias Seepa son of Manjinder Singh residents of Uggi village with 19 grams of heroin, said investigating officer Pardeep Kumar.
