The Bilga police have booked four persons including a woman on charges of outraging a woman’s modesty, voluntarily causing grievous hurt, and criminal intimidation.
Investigating officer (IO ) Anwar Masih said that the accused have been identified as Balvir Kaur Gurpinder Singh, Jaswinder Singh, and, Dilbag Singh residents of Talwann village,
Harman Singh of the same village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with the intention to kill assaulted his brother and relative Surinder Pal Kaur and tore her clothes.
IO said that a case under sections 323 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 354(assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty.) and 506(criminal intimidation) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
