The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating officer (IO) Balbir Chand said that 110 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gobinda son of Fakir a resident of Mohalla Bagh Wala and Dharma son of Kashmir a resident of Mohalla Dhorra Shahkot.
IO said a case under sections 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded their motorcycle on which they were traveling with the contraband.
The Nakodar City police have arrested a drug peddler Ravi Kumar son of Piara a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura with 148 intoxicant tablets said IO Mandeep Singh.
