The Nakodar Sadar police have busted a gang of thieves and arrested its two members.
Investigating Officer (IO) Amrik Singh said that the accused have been identified as Harwinder Pal alias Nikka son of Paramjit Singh Aand Paramjit Singh son of Gurdeep Singh residents of Shah Pur village
Sanjay Sondhi presently residing at Kang Sahiibu village complained to the police that the accused and their two other accomplices stole three quintals of iron bars from the store of his company MKC which had been allotted a section of the construction of Dehli-Amritasr- Katara Highway.
IO said a case under sections 457(house trespass) ,380(theft in dwelling house), and 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and their accomplices Gurpreet Singh alias Peeta son of Raj Kumar, Simranjit Gill son of Sulkhan Singh residents of Mureed Wal village under Lohian Khas police station and recovered from their possession stolen iron bars.
