The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating officer (IO) and Talwandi Sanghera police post in -charge Nirmal Singh said that 10 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Dilbag Singh alias Baga son of Satnam Singh a resident of Rehrwan village.
IO said a case under sections 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his motorcycle on which he was traveling with the contraband.
The Nakodar City police have arrested a drug peddler Amandeep alias Aman son of Shinder Pal a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura with 190 intoxicant tablets said IO Kulwinder Singh.
