The Nurmahal police have booked two unidentified accused on the charge of snatching a woman’s chain in the temple premises.
Jayoti daughter of Manohar Lal a resident of Mohalla Gujjran, Nurmahal complained to the police that she was going to pay her obeisance in Baba Bhut Nath temple with her sister-in-law on Thursday evening when an unidentified accused entered from the main gate and snatched her gold chain and fled away on a motorcycle driven by his accomplice.
Investigating Officer Amarik Lal said a case under sections 379-B(snatching ) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
