The Nakodar City police have arrested Billu, Rakesh, Sham Lal, Jaswant Singh, Aji Kumar, Ram Kumar all residents of Nakodar town, Naresh of Malsian village under Shahkot police station, and Rajiv a resident of Littarran village.
Investigating officer Rajinder Pal Singh said that the accused were indulging in gambling in a double-story building in front of the post office.
IO said a case under sections 13(A) -3-67 of the Punjab Gambling Act has been registered against the accused. who was released on bail.
