Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Wednesday said that the applications had been invited from children for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) Awards-2024.
DC said that awards would be given in the fields of bravery, science and technology, environment, sports, social service, arts and culture, and innovation. He said that the last date for receiving online application forms was August 31, 2023.
Sarangal said that registrations could be made on www.awards.gov.in and the applications would be received only on the same online portal. He said that any child who was an Indian citizen residing in India and not exceeding 18 years of age eligible to apply for the award. He said that in these Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) Awards-2024, a medal, cash prize of Rs 1, 00,000 and certificate and citation would be given to awardees. The awards will be announced on December 26 on ‘Veer Bal Diwas and conferred by the President of India in New Delhi at a special ceremony held in January every year.
