NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have booked a woman on the charges of cheating.
Station House Officer (SHO) Baljit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Balwinder Kaur wife of Dalvir Singh a resident of Talwandi Bharo village.
Tarsem Singh a resident of Railway Road, Nakodar complained to Jalandhar(rural) Senior Superintendent of Police that the accused gave his land on a rant without his knowledge, and any authority embezzled money and duped him.
IO said that a case under section 420(cheating) of the IPC has been registered against the accused after an inquiry and assistant sub-inspector Rajinder Pal Singh is conducting further investigations.
