The Bilga police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of snatching earrings from a woman.
Investigating officer (IO) Avtar Lal said that the accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi son of Balkar Singh and Arashdeep Singh alias Arash son of Baljinder Singh residents of Pat Bhalai, Bilga village.
Kulwinder Kaur wife of Charanjit Singh a resident of Pati Bhatti Bilga village complained to the police that the motorcycle-borne accused snatched her earrings (weighting 8 grams)
IO said that a case under sections 379-B (snatching) and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and impounded the motorcycle used in the crime.
