SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Lakhbir Singh said that 150 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Avtar Singh alias Lalla Veer Bhan a resident of Mohalla Bagh Wala Shahkot.
IO said a case under sections 22 /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
