The Election Commission of India (ECI) will organize an online quiz competition on Independence Day at 12 pm.
Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Vishesh Sarangal said that questions related to the Independence of India, the Constitution of India, and the Election Commission of India would be asked in the competition. He said that the winners of the first, second, and third positions in the competition will be awarded cash prizes and certificates of Rs. 1500, 1200, and 1000 respectively. He said that this competition would be of 30 minutes and include a total of 50 questions.
Sarangal said that the link for the competition would be made available live at 11:50 a.m. on the Facebook and Twitter pages of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab. He said that if more than one contestant gets equal numbers, the winner will be selected through a lottery system. He mentioned that the quiz will be completed within the stipulated time and for additional information in this regard, the interested candidates may contact the toll-free number 1950.
