The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of snatching cash from petrol pump salesmen.
Investigating Officer (IO) Janal Raj said that the accused have been identified as Raj Kumar alias Raju son of Kashmir Singh a resident of Khurshaid Pur village and Akash Deep Singh son of Inderjit Singh a resident of Bopa Rai colony, Sidham Bet in Ludhiana
Surjit Kumar a resident of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar Jalandhar had complained to the police that the accused and their two unidentified accomplices riding a Honda City (PB-08-AA-8666) came to the petrol pump at Kang Sahibu village on August 10, 2022, very early morning and snatched the bag from petrol pump salesmen Arbaj Khan and Abhishek Ali which contained night sale money amounting to Rs 2970 and snatched an I-Phone and a silver Karra from them.
IO said a case under section 379-B (snatching) of the IPC was registered against the unidentified accused and further investigations are on.
