A 26 years old youth from village Sher Singh Wala of Faridkot died on duty in Rajasthan allegedly by the bite of some venomous insect,probably a snake,the family members told the media today.
According to the family members,he spoke to them just hours before his death and told them that he was on duty from 10 PM to 12 PM.
But later on we got to know through a call from the army that he was bitten by some venomous insect while he was on his way to duty on his bicycle.
He was rushed to the hospital by his collegue.
They said that his commanding officer also informed them about his death and said that post mortem is being conducted on his body.
The family members told the media that his deadbody is expected to reach by 11 AM to his village on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Satnam Singh.
