The Bilga police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Station House Officer (SHO) Jatinder Kumar said that 170 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jaswant Singh alias Jassa son of Hari Singh a resident of Dharme Dian Chhana village.
SHO said a case under sections 22 /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and assistant sub-inspector Jaspal Singh Nath is further investigating.
