Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Thursday directed all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and Tehsildars to complete the process of revising collector rates expeditiously in the district.
In a meeting with SDMs and Revenue Officers, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vishesh Sarangal asked them to submit their proposals by this Saturday for the speedy finalization of new collector rates in the district. He said that they must prepare their proposals after due consultation with ground-level field staff and other stakeholders. He said that they must accord top priority to the interest of the public at every cost in the finalization of the new collector rates. Officers must ensure that their reports are submitted by Saturday so that same can be sent to the state government.
Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Major Amit Mahajan, SDMs and Tehsildars were present.
