The Lohian Khas have arrested a gangster on the charge of extortion and criminal conspiracy.
Station House Officer (SHO) Yadwinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Buta son of Shingara a resident of Talwann village under Bilga police station r.
Manoj Kumar a resident of Makhu town in Feroze Pur has complained to the police that the accused and their other accomplices blackmailed and exhorted money from him by threatening him.
SHO said that a case under sections 384 (punishment for extortion) 506(criminal intimidation) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC was registered against the accused and his three female accomplices were arrested earlier.
