Kapurthala Aug.1 : Two motorcycle borne persons died under mysterious circumstances in the fields near village Hamira on Jalandhar-Amritsar national highway on Monday night .
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajpal Singh Sandhu when today contacted confirmed the recovery of two bodies from fields and sent the same for posts mortem.
SSP said that police recovered motorcycle and mobile phone near the bodies .
Police said there was no visible injuries on bodies and actual cause of death could be known on the findings of post mortem report.
Police identified both the bodies as Bikramjit Singh (38) and Satpal Singh (30) both residents of Raipur peer Baksh falling under Bholath.
However deceased Bikram Singh brother Rajinder Singh in a statement to police stated that both the deceased were friends and had gone on motorcycle around 11 am from house on Monday and did not return to home till night and the family reported the missing of both the victims to the police .
Both the bodies are lying the mortuary for post mortem which was not conducted so far .
Police has registered the case under section 174 Cr.P.C and begun investigations.
