SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
Investigating Officer Sarwann Singh said that 7 bottles of hooch were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Shin Girj alias Jatti a resident of Narang Pur village.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
