The Shahkot police have busted a gang of motorcycle thieves and arrested its four members.
Investigating Officer Balkar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Kuldeep Singh son of Harnek Singh a resident of Mohlla Bhai Ka Khuh, Dharamkot Moga, his son Navdeep Singh and Harjinder Singh son of Sukhwinder Singh and Jaskaran Singh son of Gurmail Singh residents of near petrol pump Moga road Dharamkot .
IO said that the police have received a piece of secret information that the accused are notorious thieves indulging in stealing and selling motorcycles and were nabbed at a Naka and recovered from their possession two stolen motorcycles.
IO said that a case under section 379(theft) 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
