The Lohian Khas on Thursday arrested three female gangsters on the charge of extortion and criminal conspiracy.
Station House Officer(SHO) Yadwinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sonia wife of Salinder Pal a resident of Basant Colony ,ward no 2 ,Lohian, Kajal wife of Sarabjit a resident of Nadala town in Kapurthala and Puja wife Kinder a resident of Zira Gate, Feroze Pur.
Manoj Kumar a resident of Makhu town in Feroze Pur complained to the police that the accused and their other accomplices blackmailed and exhorted money from him by threatening him.
SHO said that a case under sections 384 (punishment for extortion) 506(criminal intimidation) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and their three male accomplices who are absconding. SHO said that Rs 5000 extorted money was seized from the possession of the accused.
