NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked an unidentified accused on the charge of online cheating a Nakodar resident of Rs 1 Lakh.
Gurmukh Singh a resident of quarter no 6 SDM courts near water tank Nakodar and presently living in Mohalla Karar Khan, Gopal Nagar, Jalandhar complained to the Jalandhar commissionerate police that the unidentified accused online cheated him of Rs 1 lakh between 23,1,2020 to 26,112020.
Nakodar City Station House officer Baljit Singh said that the complaint and inquiry report were sent to the police station for registration of a case and a case under section 379 (theft) and of the IPC and section 66(C) of the Information Technology 2000 has been registered against unidentified accused and further investigation is on.
