The Lohian Khas police have booked a village youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor girl.
Investigating Officer (IO) Govinder Singh h said that the accused has been identified as Rohit alias Vansh son of Raju a resident of Ambedkar Nagar Farid Kot
Nachtar t Singh a resident of Giddar Pindi village complained to the police that the accused kidnapped his minor granddaughter Navjot Kaur by inducing her on the pretext of marriage.
IO said that a case under sections 363 (kidnapping) and 366-A (Procuration of minor girl) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
