The Jalandhar(rural) police senior superintendent of police (SSP) Mukhbindar Singh Bhullar on Friday chaired a crime meeting in which all SHOs and gazette officers participated.
In a press note issued by the police, it said that the SSP directed all SHOs to arrest all proclaimed offenders in NDPS Act cases and strict action should be taken against all anti-social elements and maintain law and order situation.
He directed all officers to act on complaints from people and all under investigation cases should be completed and challans should be presented in the courts at the earliest.
The press note said that all three high-tech Nakas in Jalandhar rural district at Phillaur, Kureshia, and Shahkot will have CCTVs, Internet, Laptops, Wireless sets, and vehicles and will be manned by police personnel twenty-four hours.
It said that SSP honoured officers/employees who worked in floods.
