The Punjab State National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) Shotgun Shooting Competition 2023 concluded successfully on the 14th and 15th of July at the prestigious Bhai Devinder Singh Sidhu Gun Club in Bhucho. The event, held under the able supervision of Director Shotgun Committee NRAI, Amar Jang Singh, witnessed an impressive display of skill and determination as athletes vied for victory in skeet, trap, and double trap sporting events.
In the fiercely contested skeet master category, it was S. Himmat Singh Nakai, Director of West Point School Kotkapura, who emerged victorious, securing the much-coveted gold medal. His remarkable performance not only earned him the top spot but also qualified him for the upcoming pre-nationals. With this outstanding achievement, S. The medals were awarded during a grand ceremony by the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Showkat Ahmad Parray, IAS DC Bathinda. Joining him as Guests of Honor were Gurbir Singh Sandhu, President of the Punjab Rifle Shooting Association (PRSA), and Pawandeep Singh Dhillon, Secretary General of PRSA.
