The Mehat Pur police have booked a proclaimed offender on the charge of non-appearing in court.
Investigating officer (IO) Davinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sukhraj Singh alias Raja son of Manjit Singh a resident of Mandiala village.
IO said that Nakodar judicial magistrate first class Rajwinder Kaur has declared the accused a proclaimed offender in a case of illegal mining and theft on May 19 ,2023 and has be booked under section 174-A (Nonappearance in response to a proclamation under section 82 of Act 2 of 1974).
