NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a villager on the charge of assaulting a woman.
Investigating officer (IO)Manjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Kashmir Singh alias Nura son of Bhajan Singh a resident of Aadhi village.
Jasvir Kaur wife of Rannbir Singh a resident of the same village complained that the accused attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon and injured her.
IO said a case under sections 323, 324.326(voluntarily causing grievous hurt) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
The Bilga police booked three residents of Burj Sudhara village for assaulting Rannjit Singh of the same village said IO Ashwani Kumar.
