The Nakodar city police have booked two unidentified miscreants on the charge of snatching a woman’s scooter.
Minakshi daughter of Sanjay Kumar Gupta a resident of Pratap Nagar near Wadala Chowk Jalandhar complained to the police that she was going to attend a work call at Lattaran village on her scooter (-PB-08-EG659) and when she reached Dherian village and turned on Shankar road two unidentified motorcycle-borne accused followed and asked to stop.
She said that she stopped her scooter on the roadside fearing the accused will snatch her mobile phone one of them started a talk with her and the other accused started her scooter and ran away toward Dherian village, and the motorcycle-borne accused followed him.
Investigating Officer Rannjit Singh said a case under section 379(theft) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
