The Lohian Khas police have arrested a villager on the charge of misleading the police.
Station House officer Yadwinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Major Singh son of Balvir Singh a resident of Toti village in Kapurthala.
SHO said that the accused had complained to the police on July 6 that his bullet motorcycle has been snatched by two unidentified persons.
SHO during the investigation it came to light that the accused had taken some money on a credit basis from Bhinda a resident of Nur Pur village under the Dharam Kot police station who took the motorcycle asking the accused to pay him money and take back two wheeler.
SHO said a Kanaldhra under sections 177 and 182 of the IPC has been presented against the accused in court.
