LOHIAN KHAS
The Lohian Khas police-initiated proceedings under the Criminal Procedure Code (Cr.P.C) in connection with the death of a youth.
Investigating officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Amarinder Singh (30) a resident of Deepe Wal village under Sultan Pur Lodhi police station.
Buta Singh father of the deceased told the police that his son was a patient of depression and took his medicine in overdose and died.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
