NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar has arrested two accused on the charge of murdering a Kullar village resident.
Station House Officer (SHO) G.S.Nagra said that the accused have been identified as Balwinder Singh alias Raja son of Joginder Singh a resident of Kullar village and Bir Nath son of Ranna a resident of the same village but presently living at Kangana Road near Ice factory Malsian town under Shahkot police station.
Jagdeesh Singh a resident of Kullar village had complained to the police that the accused and their accomplices attacked his bother Surjit Singh with the intention to kill him on May 12 and seriously injured him who succumbed to his injuries on June 23
SHO said a case under sections 308(attempt to commit culpable homicide not amounting to murder) 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 341(wrongful restraint) 148 and 149(rioting) was registered and section 302 (murder) was added in the FIR.
SHO said that Vijay Kumar son of Tirath alias Pala a resident of Kullar village, his brother Yograj alias Gagy and Arash son of Ranna a resident of Malsian town in Shahkot are other accused in this case who are absconding and raids are being conducted to arrest them.
