The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.
Station House Officer (SHO)Amanpreet Kaur said that 50 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurjinder Singh alias Jinda a resident of Amir Khas village under Makhu police station Feroze Pur and Jatinder Singh son of Sher Singh a resident of Basti Labh Singh Wali under Guru Har Sahay police station Feroze Pur
SHO said a case under sections 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle (PB37-F-3413) on which they were riding with the contraband.
The Mehatpur police arrested drug peddler Mandip Singh alias Viki son of Pipal Singh a resident of Bangi Wal village with 300 intoxicant tablets (loose) said IO Jaspal Singh.
