NAKODAR
Nakodar city police have arrested a villager on the charge of smuggling liquor. Investigating Officer Rannjit Singh said 12 bottles of liquor (whisky) were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Lovpreet alias Vadali a resident of Malrri village. A case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered against the accused who was released on bail.
