The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit liquor
The investigating officer (IO) and Talwandi Sanghera police ppost-in-charge aljit Singh said 20 bottles of hooch) were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Jaspal Singh a resident of Kohar Khurd village.
IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
The Mehat Pur arrested Vinod Kumar a resident of Mohalla Syadan Mehat Pur with 9 bottles of hooch said IO Davinder Singh.
